Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 is now available

I've done a dirty update on both my 68Us (AiMesh). The logs now are very quiet, no more funky debug messages all around. This release seems to be a sweet spot! Thanks again everyone!

    Bufferbloat only on 2.4GHz

Hi folks. I have two RT-AC68R in a mesh setup (386.1_2). My Internet connection is a symmetrical 100 Mbps fiber. On the main router I've enabled QoS and FlexQoS 1.2.2 (amtm). The configuration is adaptative, bandwidth manually set to 90 Mbps, fq_codel selected. The traffic classes are ordered...

    Suggestion to add remote.it support

Recently I've changed to a small ISP, great guys and good service. But unfortunately they do cgnat on the link, so I can't access my devices from outside their network. The solution I found is having a raspberry pi inside my LAN with remote.it. This way I can open tunnels to my lan devices with...

SMB share browsing f* slow on Mac OS

Hi fellas! I've setup my RT-AC68R (378.56_2) as a SMB server and everything is just fine when I try to access the share with my Linux or Windows boxes. But for some reason my wife's notebook (Mac OS 10.10.5) can't read the folder contents, it is just too slow to bear. On other forums I've seen...

    Local name resolution on RT-AC68R

Hi folks. I've set several static IPs on my RT-AC68R, but somehow they won't get resolved from my client machines. The resolution works fine from the router itself... I read in another post that OpenDNS messes with the local resolution, which in case I'm using. Does is it still apply? Thanks...

    SSL on transmission web client

Hi folks. I've been struggling to make lighttpd act like a HTTPS proxy for the transmission web client. Could you guys take a look at my configs and say what is wrong? Whenever I try to access the HTTPS page I get redirected to the AiCloud login page with disabled fields... services-start...

Hi everyone. How can I prevent cru from spamming the syslog? I do already stop/restart syslogd in services-start, but there seems to be no option for such a thing. Thanks in advance!

    RT-AC68U Temperatures

It's just a $10 chinese usb fan, nothing really special. When it become noisy enough maybe I'll try something fancier like an Arctic Breeze... http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Full-metal-aluminum-blades-computer-mini-usb-fan-silent-fan-small-fan/956704897.html

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.50 Beta 2 is out

FTP not booting The FTP server doesn't start at boot time, but if I shut it down and then re-enable it in "FTP Share" it works all right. Could it be related somehow to the restore script I've used when I flashed 378.58_beta2? (I've done a factory reset before the script)

    RT-AC68U Temperatures

My 68R was running at 93C when idle, so I decided to put a usb fan in the back of the unit. Now it feels much better at 69C average.
