    386.1.2 AX3000 can't connect to AiMesh nodes

Ok, that worked. Connected to WAN on the node router and it connected no problem. Then I could disconnect and it was fine. I know the wireless setup worked on the older firmware, so something seems broken. But this is a workaround. Thanks all!

    386.1.2 AX3000 can't connect to AiMesh nodes

Do I connect LAN to LAN or LAN to WAN?

Here is the attachment. I copied this from another forum where I accidentally posted it first. Must not have transferred.

    386.1.2 AX3000 can't connect to AiMesh nodes

Definitely still doesn't work. I am using a different unit as my main router, connecting to one of the other original nodes. Same error. Nothing obvious in the log... maybe this, maybe it's unrelated. Feb 24 01:53:09 hostapd: eth6: STA 18:b4:30:d3:fa:43 IEEE 802.11: associated Feb 24 01:53:09...

    386.1.2 AX3000 can't connect to AiMesh nodes

When I asked it to search for the nodes initially, it said it would enable WPS for that purpose. So I believe so. I'm in the midst of trying to do a clean rebuild of it, so I can't say anymore.

    386.1.2 AX3000 can't connect to AiMesh nodes

I was previously running 386.1.b5 on a primary AX3000 with one wired, and one wiireless AX3000 as AiMesh nodes. Things had been fine since I upgraded to that version following unreliable wifi to my iPhones. Things were a bit rocky through the multiple power outages from the winter storm last...

AX3000 AiMesh stops routing traffic to iPhones only

Upgrading to 386.1 seems to have fixed my issues. I have not encountered any obvious bugs.

AX3000 AiMesh stops routing traffic to iPhones only

Ok, so I disabled private address on both my phone and my watch yesterday. But late last night my iPhone stopped working while I was using it. I tried to disconnect and reconnect, but it said it was unable to connect to the network. I "forgot" the network and tried to join again and it would...

Wasn't aware of that, I will try it.

AX3000 AiMesh stops routing traffic to iPhones only

I have three AX3000s distributed through my small business that is in an old building with lots of concrete/brick walls. All seems good, but at least once a day, several of the iPhones using the wifi will lose internet (I don't know if it's at the same time, the others have given up and disabled...

    Port forwarding not working

So I connected via an alternate method and it still didn't work. After poking around for a while, I eventually traced it to a typo in the settings I entered for the wireless relay device. I had mistakenly entered the gateway as 192.168.1.1 rather than 192.168.100.1. I'm not sure why it worked in...

    Port forwarding not working

So I realized that the IP I reserved on the Asus was associated with the MAC address for the Edimax bridge router. (Oddly, the Edimax claims to use the same MAC for Ethernet and Wifi which doesn't seem possible.) I revised it to what I think is the MAC address for the ethernet control. I tried...

    Port forwarding not working

I did some more testing tonight and learned the following: - The router acting as bridge is a Edimax EW-7228APn which appears to have no port mapping options regardless of which mode you put it in. I currently have it in infrastructure mode so it connects to my AC66U. I wouldn't think it...

    Port forwarding not working

No, I'm SSHing to an external webserver in order to test whether I can get into my network remotely. I have no need to SSH into my network. I'm trying to get to a web server running on port 80. I added the second mapping only for test purposes. My plan was to use port 8008. When that...

    Security risk?

Even though I have "Enable Web Access from LAN" off, if I turn off the firewall and query my public IP from a remote location using curl, I get a screen saying "You cannot login unless logout another user first." (sic) More concerning is that there is a javascript array called dhcpLeaseInfo that...
