    i see .384 now listed from asus for the rt-ac5300. will you be adding that model anytime soon to the pre release schedule? i may switch back to my rt-ac3100 for the time being if not. i like the 5300 a lot but really would rather keep merlin on it.

    my 88u has been pretty solid but i was given a 5300 (non gt model) and honestly i dont need both so im going to keep only one. which would you keep and why? are they both solid choices of merlin firmware and any major issues with the 5300 that the 88u doesnt normally suffer from? have not used...

    flashed 380.68 to the ac3100 and im seeing random radio disconnects and then the radios will disappear and i have to power off then back on to see them again. tested on all three 3100 i have here same results (one was still shrink wrapped new i opened to test on that one also)? previous firmware...

    thats kind of what im thinking at this point. ive tried everything i can think of. i also get wifi dropouts where it will disconnect me and if i reconnect to the network it will be fine for another day or two till it happens again. going to order a 3100 anyway so this will go away soon...

    the whole reason i decided to use this for now is because i saw your thread about the range on the 56u. im just not seeing those results. as i said even in the same room i dont even see full signal. also a couple of those settings will not work for me because of some older game systems...

    correct. started fresh each time. i have basically the same range wise from 5g as i do from 2.4 normally at least with the c7 i had far more range wise with 2.4
