Possible to retrieve configuration settings when changing Asus model ?

I am about to replace an Asus router model RT-AC68UF with an Asus router model RT-AX88U. I want to know if there is a way to recover on the new router all the configuration settings of the old router without having to re-enter them. Perhaps this issue has already been addressed.

Problem when installing Merlin firmware 2.0 or 2.2 with AC68U

And although I know the problem and the risk of confusion between 68 and 86 on the one hand, between AC and AX on the other hand, to say nothing of the combined risk, I nevertheless made the error! I will now know that I have a tendency to dyslexia ... or that with age the attention problems are...

Problem when installing Merlin firmware 2.0 or 2.2 with AC68U

I am equipped with an AC68UF router. I haven't had a problem so far installing the latest versions of Merlin up to version 1.2. My attempts to install versions 2.0 and then 2.2 seem to fail. At the start of the loading, I have a message that says "Failed to update the software. This could come...

Simple question about configuring Policy-based routing for an OpenVPN client

OK, thanks for the advice about remote access; I won't implement it anymore even if I don't see why it can be easily hacked unlike a VPN link. But, I must be a bit blocked, I don't see the relation between implementing a remote access via the VPN server so (from ASUS or my NAS; do you have a...

I don't think I can set my internet box in bridge mode (what would be the benefits besides ?). I am not sure to understand exactly what you mean by "realtime".

Simple question about configuring Policy-based routing for an OpenVPN client

And how can I update the time? Router is behind my Internet box ; its public ip-number is something like 192.168.1.x. Only my Internet box has real public ip.

Simple question about configuring Policy-based routing for an OpenVPN client

I have another more annoying problem (which may have already been addressed in another thread): when I restart the router manually or when the router restarts automatically as scheduled, I find that the VPN client has stopped. And yet, I checked "yes" for the "Automatic start at boot time"...

Simple question about configuring Policy-based routing for an OpenVPN client

Hello. I have proceeded as suggested. It works, as far as I can tell from the system logs. I wanted to do a test with a smartphone, and I was confronted with the following problem: when I added a line for this equipment and then went back to see, I was able to test with myip.com and it was ok...
