    Help with moca setup

Hi degrub, thanks for helping. I connected the units, just as you suggested - Ghn to Ghn. The Ghn light comes on for less then a second when I turn them on, and then it does not come on. Tried with a 3m coax, and with the supplied short coax, left a couple of min - no difference.

    Help with moca setup

Hi, Based on the information I read here, I got 2 units, for which are labeled as G.hn over coax gigabit Ethernet bridge (I believe moca 2.0). I could not find the Actiontec moca adapters in my country, so I got the only ones I could find. However, I cant seem to get them to work. I waited for...

    New to MOCA

I checked, there would be no splitters on that particular line between the places where the two MOCA units would be connected, but I have an in-wall connector on one side for one connection option, and for the other, I would be connecting directly after the HUAWEI fiber internet thing with a...

    New to MOCA

Hey, thanks for the answers, they are very helful. I followed your device, and now I have an instruction manual from Sendtek, but there seems to be nothing special in that manual - mostly plug and play - as you mentioned. I sent an e-mail to the cable company, but they have not answered yet...

    New to MOCA

I have a very similar problem 3d to 1st floor, but the only thing that looks like a MOCA adapter is this thing: http://www.sendtek.com/prod-ces83x.php According to the guy in the store, I need two of these (one for each side of the coax cable). I am concerned whether or not these would change...

Real world performance of powerline network and performance factors?

I guess, the powerline is not an option then. Actually, the walls are made of masonry+concrete, but there is a metal wire reinforcement wire in the construction, which could be the problem for the wifi signals. The crossection of the wires is aprox. 10mm, and on some parts of the horizontal...

Real world performance of powerline network and performance factors?

Hi, I recently started using a room on the 2nd floor as a work/study room. I am using a 1750 AC router with 3 antenas on the 1st floor. The rooter provides exceptional signal strength on the entire 1st floor, however, for some reason, I barely get any signal on the 2nd floor and ground floor. I...

    Advice for upgrade

Once again thank you. Sorry for the mistake MB/s vs Mb/s. My internet speed is in mb/s devided by 8 somewhere between 2.5-3 MB/s, I think. I find the internet speed OK. What I want to upgrade is the speed of my home network, since some of the devices need faster data rates for media...

    Advice for upgrade

First, thanks for your answer(s). I am a plain home user, and would not like to spend more money nor time setting the system up then necessary. Also, I would like to set it up and be able to use this for a 2-3 years without much intervention if possible. My current router is rated higher than...
