Switched to a new ISP yesterday that uses PPPoE. I got the PPPoE and VLAN tagging details from the technician and tried to use my GT-AX11000 but it maxes out at ~500 Mbps up/down when I pay for 1 Gbps. Using their own router gets the full speed (~940 Mbps).
Is there anything I can do to get...
I get what you mean regarding interference. Originally, the RBR50 I had them far from each other. Basically it was the router connected to a switch and the switch connects to the Satellite unit, all over ethernet. This wasn't an issue for them but it is an issue for the RBR750. It makes them not...
Right now I have the Orbi router in the first floor right in the center, with the satellite unit right above it in the second floor. I plan to do the same with the GT-AX11000 as that is where I got Ethernet cables running (inside the wall).
Edit: I just checked the AX86U. It seems to be just...
I live in a two story house and I have always suffered dealing with different routers to cover my house, or to have seamless roaming without devices (mobile phones) dropping calls when moving between rooms, etc. I have tried the Orbi RBR50 and it was not so bad but also isn't great either. This...
Any way to force RBK50 to 5 GHz channels 100+?
Where I live they introduced new WiFi regulations recently making it not possible to connect to WiFi networks using 5 GHz channels under 100. That means I can’t use any of the 5 GHz channels Orbi RBK50 offers anymore. I am being limited to 2.4 GHz...
But this is never the case for me on any of the 360.x softwares. I can change the servers by uploading new .ovpn multiple times a day and it never resets the policy routing table or even the client name.
This matters a lot to me because I have a ton of policy routing entries (around 250) and...
Oh. Didn’t know this was a thing as I have no issues using symbols on 380. It was “Text-Text”. Will try to restore to 384 tonight again and try this. Thanks :)
Whenever I upgrade my RT-AC56R to 384 I am never able to delete or add new records to the policy routing table in the OpenVPN clients. I have tried restoring to factory settings while on 384 and refilling the policy routing table records one by one manually and whenever I enter like 10 or 15...
I did the command you gave me and here is the result:

I can’t connect not because of the server, or the router itself. I can’t connect because the country recently started using DPI software to block access to VPN protocols (including OpenVPN).
Regarding Softether. The latest beta release (last update was mid January) includes TLS 1.2 and all new...
I tried the same config (.ovpn and cert files) on iOS and they are working fine. I am currently using Softether as the server (OpenVPN clone protocol). I tried OpenVPN itself and it didn't work on the router too with tls-crypt active.
The log shows that the router receives initial TLS packet...
