Sorry. I was only speaking to the factory reset notice. Your right that it does seem this model is missing quite a few things that other models have gotten lately.

I believe it's more the case that when those first models had that notice a lot of people followed the advice to do a factory reset. And then people complained about the new password requirements and having to hand configure everything. The later models still got the security updates...
