    I know this thread is a little old and very ignored but I would love to have IFTTT support (with Alexia, google assist support) too. For example, I would love to make it easier for me to toggle the VPN client connection on and off.

    Hello, Forgive me for being a Noob, I am not sure where to find merlin firmware for my AC68R. I can only find firmware for AC68U. I tried to flash it with AC68U firmware, but it came back as if nothing had happened. The same ASUS firmware was on it, no Merlin hat in sight. Thanks!

    Yeah I agree! Could you have a switch (or something) with NAT then plug in the router? In my past experience of hooking two routers together has been a fail. I'm not sure if it is the two NAT or DHCP.
