    hi all, I'm having trouble with the speed of the connection between my devices and the router(attached image). I'm only getting 300mbps connection. Should I not be getting a lot more on 5ghz AC wifi ? for e.g my desktop is using a intel ac 9260 with updated drivers and I'm only 4 metres away...

    Thanks for that. Shield is a streaming media player. If i disabled the TV from accessing the internet then I wouldn't be able to watch any youtube netflix etc? How would I update the Nas without internet? Should I set up a guest network for wireless devices? what about vlans ?

    yea it's a one of those small usb dongles. Do you believe that's the issue? are there better adapters to buy or am i restricted to the usb2 port? I'm only less than 10 ft from the router too. Cheers

    hi guys, so i recently purchased the Nighthawk x4s as it was recommended on this forum. I was slightly concerned with the transfer speeds over wireless to my synology nas on my network. At the moment i'm getting about 20MB/s (according to the windows using a usb dongle connected at 433mbs)...
