Dear all, Finally I bought this RT-AX89X. Stock firmware (no Merlin firmware available). And I keep my two RT-AC86U as nodes, with last Merlin firmware. All is working perfectly, and I have got the correct speed (more than 2000 mbps detected by the RT-AX89X). Have a nice week! PYB

Argh, big mistake from my side... 1.4 Ghz for 88 vs 1.8 for 86. OK, so that's not cool having the 88 as a master. But does it explain why I can not come back to official Asus firmware? And why do I need many tries before having the Merlin firmware? Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for your feedback. A VPN customer service explained to me their solution is not compatible with mesh system (I would like to install VPN on main router, because I have got many connected devices). Is it something common? Never possible to install VPN on a mesh system? Thanks to you all! PYB
