Thank you for your answers 🙂 I moved all the smart lights, cameras and echo dots to a hidden 2.4Ghz guest ssid and everything still works as before without any issues.

I understand. Well i don't have any AP or using AiMesh so it seems i don't need the first slot. Thank you i will use the second one 🙂

I've decided to create a separate hidden guest ssid for my IoT devices but there's 3 guest slots and I've read that some of them behave differently. Suggestions which slot should i use and what's the difference between them?

To this day i have all of them connected to the regular 2.4Ghz network and i really didn't thought about it. I don't mind resetting them all and move them ro a guest network. Is 1 separate guest ssid is sufficient for them all?

Hello 🙂 I have 11 Smart Bulbs, 3 Wifi Cameras and 3 Alexa Echo devices and I'm using Asus AX86U router. Is it worth it moving them all to a seperate guest ssid for better "security" or it ain't worth the hassle?

Great. In my case i only need to get better signal on 2.4Ghz for some smart devices, are you able to disable 5Ghz on the node (RP-AX56)?

I have an AX86U with latest merlin firnware and i want to get RP-56AX just to extend 2.4ghz signal (will disable 5ghz). My question is there any known issues using a router on merlin fw and connection a "mesh wireless node" which is not running merlin? or it won't work in the first place? Thanks...
