Are you sure that your ISP router and ASUS router are not in the same subnet?
I have ASUS Router Wan port <---> ISP router
Asus Router Lan port <-> switch <-> other devices
Asus router uses ISP router in Bridge mode (i.e. the Asus router creates the PPOE connection)
Asus router does DHCP.
1. Factory reset the node
2. Connect Main router LAN1 port to Node WAN port via Ethernet cable
3. Once successful, disconnect
4. Place your Node at the desired location
5. The Node should now connect automatically...Ethernet backhaul or Wireless backhaul
Hope it's clear for @lepa71 that the same hostname can point to an IPv4 and an IPv6 address at the same time
Lookup Hostname: family.cloudflare-dns.com
Lookup IPv4 Address: 1.1.1.3
Lookup IPv4 Address: 1.0.0.3
Lookup IPv6 Address: 2606:4700:4700::1003
Lookup IPv6 Address: 2606:4700:4700::1113
If it was up to me, I would make this one a sticky thread.
Unless we have an option to bookmark threads?
But I don't think that this option is enabled.
Sorry if I missed it but thanks to this tool I noticed my Google devices using Google DNS server (and ignoring my DHCP settings)
What is the best way to force these devices to use DoT?
Gentle request to have a 'colorblind mode' where you swap the yellow or green for example by blue ?
I am having difficulty distinguishing yellow and green. o_O
Is there a ISP modem/router between the UDM and the internet?
This was the case for me, and that router would also send DHCP NACK, even if DHCP was turned off on that router.

Basically remove the %27 at the end
Are you using ethernet backhaul?
This has to be enabled on the Router/AP AND on the node.
Once you switch the node to Aimesh node, it will factory reset (it tells you), at that point you need to search for the node to add it to the mesh.
That is useful info, RT-AX86U costs around 250€.
If I need to buy 2 of those to replace my current AC Mesh setup (ground floor and first floor), I was not counting on that.
