    So here is an update, the reset of the device addressed point 1. For point 2, believe it or not the slowness is when accessing using HTTPS, HTTP is fast. Not sure if this is caused by the self signed certificate/browser or if there is a bug somewhere.

    Will check mine when I get home, I guess it should say full duplex as well. Edit: This should be visible in router logs as well, that it is 1000 Mbps full duplex. Just trying to rule this out.

    You may be right even though USB 3.0 has 5Gbps. The reason I'm asking is that if you are plugging the adapter into a USB 2.0 port, you will not get more than few hundred Mbps.
