    Seagate BlackArmor NAS 220 - won't boot

    Does anyone know if the BlackArmor NAS will play nicely with SSDs? Don't see them on the list of supported drives (https://www.seagate.com/support/kb/blackarmor-nas-drive-compatibility-list-212777en/). Haven't found anything on this searching the web.

    hmmm...I've found these to be finicky at times with connectivity. Some times reseating the ethernet and I've always disconnected power for a while also.

    RT-AC66R Version 3.0.0.4.382.51641 - lost access to Guest WiFi

    Just looked but it only shows the 2.4/5ghz primaries but not the guest network. Running the latest f/w. I did have the SSID hid but I removed that option and refreshed the data but still no go. Confirmed I could see the guest SSID.

    Hmm... not seeing an option to view devices (in this WiFi router) that are on the guest SSID only.

    Ya, I did. Factory reset cleared it up. Running snappier when I log into the interface as well. New config about done so will back this config up soon.

    I opted to segment the IOTs to guest WiFi. Oddly some items connect and some won't. Why is that? Anyway, since the update to f/w Version 3.0.0.4.382.51641 I lost access to Guest WiFi in the RT-AC66R GUI. I still see the signal I setup for Guest WiFi but I can no longer get to it in the GUI...

    Yes, I had to label these drives as well. The NAS wasn't it terribly will marked on the inside. I get it. I'm big on documentation. I think that's why people like to have me do it because I like to do screenshots and try to be concise. Yep, I find doing these things really help when it hits...

    Well the new hard drive came quickly. Was able to buy an identical with a 3 year warranty for a great price. I'm fine with that for what I'm going to use this for. So, you can power the unit off, swap out the bad drive with the new, pop it in place and then power up the NAS. You go into the OS...
