    Private dns question

Well I haven't been shopping for an Asian girl with her mouth wide open but I would take one for free, regardless that doesnt answer my question

    Private dns question

I've been enabling private dns on my samsung A50 (dns.google) and I was just wondering since I am also using DNS-over-tls on my rt-ac86u (Latest Merlin build) should I instead use the OFF setting in my phone or the automatic setting? I'm assuming it's not necessary to have it enabled in both...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

No comments about the ax58u? I know this thread is about the new firmware but I cannot find any differences between the ax58u & the ax3000 besides the WPA3-Enterprise feature, Do I need that feature? I can get the ax3000 for $159

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.16 (and 384.13_6) are now available

I noticed several people in here flashing this new version merlin to their 68u. Is it still recommended to keep Asus stock firmware on 68u when using it as a mesh node? I've been on stock asus with my 68u for several months while using merlin on my main 86u router. Any benefit to putting both on...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81049

Thank You, I dont know why he got so anal about my comment & started linking firmware from a random router & versions that existed 5 years ago lol when I specifically said I was referring to only the firmwares of Vant's four routers. Im just here to try to help members (albeit with less...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81049

Well according to the links you referenced they do end in 5 digits , not that it matters. Maybe if you go back a little further say to before 2015 you will find some that prove me wrong. Better yet reference another routers firmware that he doesnt own cause if you actually read my post...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81049

I dont believe I misunderstood anything, Im only going off of what I read, you said "i downgrade fw in my node to 81039 and will be observ. Now node work ok" so I simply wondered why you would downgrade to 81039 Also Im not sure where you are finding the 4117 firmware, I just checked all four of...

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81049

Why would you downgrade your node to a defective firmware that Asus has pulled? Seems counter productive to me

    ASUS RT-AC86U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81039

I agree, this is something that has been going on for years so they have to know that their customer service is terrible. People have been complaining the ROG forums & just about every other forum forever so it seems they just don't care.

    ASUS RT-AC86U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81039

Yeah they probably can't afford to hire a couple people that speak English so they can communicate with their customers.

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81049

Yeah Merlin firmware is great. Dont you have to use SSH to use FreshJR QOS though? Ive never used any SSH script before. In this case I suppose it would only be a matter of copy & paste. Ill look into it although bufferbloat is not really an issue for me anymore

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.384.81049

Are you still using 81039 on the main router? cause that was the issue & why they pulled that firmware. @Merlin Is it necessary to do a reboot or factory reset at/on the node if only flashing the node & not the main router?
