My internet company is upgrading us next week to fiber to house. I've been very happy with the 150/15 I've had for the past couple years. Can't wait to see how 500/500 will be. Put my RT-AX86U and RT-AX82U to the test.

I had the same problem. Go back to whatever firmware you had before or at least 386 something. My node was going offline with 388 on both the AX86 and AX82. I've been a lot better on 386 for my AX82 but sometimes did just happen. So I might need to also go back on 386 for my AX86.

Had this setup before on my ASUS Router but I had some issues with firmware so I reset everything. Now I can't get my router to accept the DNS setting I think I used before. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Went back to 3.0.0.4.386_50289-gfea0346 on my AX82U and everything seems to be normal again.

Everything was working good on 386's for my AX86 and AX82 Node. Now I updated to 388 on both and the Node keeps going offline. I've tried hard resetting and wired or wireless. Can't figure it out.

We loss internet from our isp a lot. So then I have to switch off my phone wifi to get my cell service. Anyway to get a text when my router has service again?

So my AX86 and AX82 wired mesh slows down even after daily scheduled restarts. My speed is 150/15 but sometimes I start seeing poor TV Streaming quality. So I'll run a speed test on my phone and we are getting 40ish instead of 130-150 like normal. I reboot the system and all is good again. Is...

I have the AX86 & AX82 in a AIMesh setup. Been working great. First I just got the 86 to replace my old RT-AC87R. The AX86 did not have the range my AC87 had. And the 2.4/5GHz Auto dual band gave me areas in the house that wouldn't work. Got the AX82 and setup AIMesh first wireless now wired...

Currently on the same firmware version for both my 82u and 86u. Both have updates available but they are different versions. Does that matter?

The NAS is a Synology DS1520 with non upgradeable lan. It's only getting used by me so the two linked ports are fast enough. I just want a reliable wired and wireless network. I figure offloading some tv's and the AIMESH off the wifi might help. Not sure how well the lan coming off the Node...

Yeah I was thinking I needed a switch. Then I was thinking my 82U should be able to run the TV's. So I still have two lan ports available.
