    I'd tend to agree with you but, again this morning all I had to do was reboot the router and the login/splash page appeared... Doesn't work that way on 384.19... But, I'm still looking/troubleshooting... :^) Also, the link I see for the login page is about six miles long and captures MAC...

    Have a problem with 384.19 on a RT-AC3100 when using hotel internet... Being in a hotel I run everything through a VPN (Mullvad) except for the router. The router (WAN) is connected via ethernet to the hotel internet service. It has a login page once you plug in and every 24 hours I get dropped...

    Hey, It's not just the browsers... Mozilla's Thunderbird has the same setting/option... Tools... Options... Advanced... Network & Disk Space tab... Settings button for Connection. Fun video to watch: Best.

    Hey, FWIW, this is how I solved my issue... I enabled the JFFS partition and formatted it on the follow up boot. Then I created a dnsmasq.conf.add file (in /jffs/configs/) and entered the following in it: dhcp-option=tag:vpndns,option:dns-server,10.10.10.1,10.10.10.2...

    Hey, Yes, and no... The DNS servers are no longer going through a VPN. After putting them through the WAN is where I noticed the difference.

    I'm running pi-hole on a VM with VirtualBox... Started out on a Raspberry Pi 3... Makes sense how you did it especially after @dave14305 enlightened me. I'll give it a try to see how it works. Thanks for help.

    Well, tried it like you described and got better results. I mistakenly thought that the way I had it set up the router would grab any DNS traffic but like you mention it wasn't pointed that way and since it was local traffic it didn't need the router anyway. Thanks for the clarity!
