    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.65 is now available

    RT-AC87U as Main router. After restart, 5 GHz will not work for AC devices. Such as iPhone 7 (Global model with Intel modem). It has problem from Merlin 380.64-65.

    I have problem with 5 GHz on RT-AC66U too. But I use it on Repeater mode. Main router is RT-AC87U. It drop and restart every 10-15 minutes.     RT-AC87U as Main Router. RT-AC66U as Repeater/Bridge. RT-AC66U can't connect RT-AC66U. It reconnect and fail in 2-3 seconds. I try Factory Reset all routers. They have problem after 380.xx firmware. They connect at 5 GHz. Thank you.

    [BETA] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.59 Beta 1 is now available

    I can't use RT-AC66U as repeater with 380.xx. It disconnect after 10-15 min for 5 GHz. I test official 9.0.0.4.380.2695 beta. It's same problem. Main router is RT-AC87U (Merlin 380.58). Thank you.

    RT-AC87U with RT-AC66U repeater

    I think RT-AC87U firmware not support Repeater mode. I use same you but RT-AC87U is main router, RT-AC66U is repeater. I suggest you to use RT-AC87U as main because it's newer than RT-AC66U. In Repeater mode, Can't config Wireless Settings in firmware.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.49 is out

    Great ! lastest Merlin 49.5 with new Quantenna firmware for RT-AC87U. I can use RT-AC66U in Repeater mode (5 GHz) connect to RT-AC87U. Other firmware can connect only 2.4 GHz. Thank you very much.

    What to use AC66U for (was replaced by AC87U)

    I use Asus RT-87U as main router. Use RT-AC66U as repeater. Extreme range coverage.
