    UnderClocking CPU

Even if you have a modem that can reduce power consumption it might not do any good, my arris has energy efficient ethernet and it can be enabled, but a few seconds later its automatically disabled, which im assuming is a product of the isp firmware, why they'd do that I have no idea, but it...

always DNS leaked with strict DNS rule setup

Are you using iCloud private relay by chance? If so, I've found it will show the relay dns instead of the vpn dns, its not supposed to (I think), but it is still in beta.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

Try flashing the Asus stock firmware from 10/7/2021 first, Version 3.0.0.4.386.45898, Asus made some firmware changes and that version needs to be installed before any later Asus stock version can be installed (if it doesn't work you'll probably need the restoration tool as Jata sugested).

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

You just need the AX58U (rather than the AX56U), I have an AX3000 too and upgrade worked fine, so should work for you as well.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

I'm not really sure if this belongs In this release thread, but I was just curious if there was a reason Cloudflare was dropped from the list of available dns? Otherwise working well, thanks as always.

I cant get my AX58U back to factory firmware

Are you trying to upload the original firmware from January 5th? If so, try uploading the firmware from October 10th first, Asus changed to dual firmware on some (or all, I'm not sure) models so earlier firmwares may be incompatible - From AX 58U downloads - *Due to core software module...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.5 is now available

It did show up eventually, not sure how long it took (didn't check again until this morning), but i'd waited about an hour before deciding to post about it, but yeah, it's there now.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.5 is now available

Noticed what might be a minor gui bug, the service state of vpn (connected/ip/port) is reported on the vpn status tab, but not next to Service State on/off in the vpn client tab as it was in previous releases, doesn't affect function though (rt-ax3000) -

    RT-AX58U can't revert

It looks like you need to flash the build from October before you can flash the build from January - '*Due to core software module upgrade, if you wanna to upgrade to this version, please must update your router to 3.0.0.4.386.45898 first.'

Nest doorbell reconnecting every 20-60 seconds RT-AC5300

My Nest thermostat has required a restart after a router firmware upgrade with both my old Linksys and current Asus router, no idea if a restart is possible with the nest doorbell, but if it is it might save you a little time in the future instead of having to reset its network etc.

    Unable to install in AX58U

386.3_2 to 386.4_beta2 flashed fine on my AX58U, so if you were trying beta1, beta2 might be worth a try.

    Guest network on access point

Are the guest networks meant to be used while running an Asus router as access point? Since they're present I just assumed they were, but when using them the dl speeds only hover at around 2-3mbps, upload speeds are fine, it's the same on both bands and all guest networks. Tried rebooting both...
