Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

What would an AiMesh configuration look like? I have a ZenWiFi AX Mini connected to the router via ethernet, that's it. Seeing the additional channels was not an issue prior to the update.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

After updating my RT-AX58U router to firmware version 3004.388.4, I noticed that many of the 5GHz Wi-Fi channels are missing. I have a ZenWiFi AX Mini connected to the router via ethernet, but that does not seem to affect the channel availability. I also tried clearing the cache by force...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

It seems that turning off and on the relevant settings under the professional tab has solved the problem, as it has been working well so far.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

I need some help with a 5Ghz wireless issue I have on my RT-AX58U router. When I use the 388.2 firmware and set the region to Australia under Wireless > Professional, the 5Ghz channel has no throughput. This was not a problem on the 388.1 firmware, where the 5Ghz channel worked fine with Auto...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Those that are not experiencing issues on 5Ghz with the AX58U, are you located in the North America region or what region do you have set in Professional under Wireless? I'm wondering if maybe here in Australia we have different internal components in the router and that is why only a number of...

Glad it isn't just me that was having the same issue on 388.2, hopefully someone can debug it. I have gone back to 388.1. I couldn't even do a ping when on 388.2 as it would just timeout - back on 388.1 and can confirm I can ping again.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Came back here to provide an update and saw your message, which is funny and I'll explain why. I decided to do a WPS factory reset followed by factory default restore with the option to the right ticked, then reloaded the same firmware (Basically I followed this -...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

G'Day from Australia. I upgraded my AX58U router without resetting it and now the 5Ghz band is not working properly. Websites and ping tests fail for any device that connects to 5Ghz. I wonder if this issue affects people in countries that have more channel options because of different rules and...
