    I am using the Arris as a modem only, and the Asus for routing functions. So the Asus passes through direct to static IP on ATT's backend.     Does this setup actually help? I'm running one gig fiber line into modem. Then two Lan lines into an rt-ac88u one Wan and the other Lan as the dedicated dual wan port. I did some custom routing and other testing, things seem quicker, but I'm not sure if there's any actual real world load...

    RT AC88U vpn stuck at 16mbps

    I cannot get my RT AC88U faster than 16mbps on a 200 mbps network while running openvpn as a server. Don't totally understand mtu and sndbuf/rcvbuf, but have read that can help. Looking for some suggestions.

    What is the answer for staying off their radar? Even though things are encrypted they can verify both end points. Does a proxy take care of hiding from isp? Or spoofing mac addresses of devices?
