Is there anyway to get my repeater to use a different channel?

That's basically what I ended up doing. That way I can reduce the 5Ghz interference which I seem to have the most issues with. Thanks

Is there anyway to get my repeater to use a different channel?

A bit after I posted this I figured out why the Roku was re-using my channel for the remote wifi direct network, because it only has one radio. So it would stand to reason that this is the same. Thanks.

Is there anyway to get my repeater to use a different channel?

My repeater is using the same channel as the main router and so is my Roku4 (which is another story /me shakes fist), but since I can't convince the Roku4 to not be stupid, can I change the channel that the repeater uses? I don't see it in the web settings.

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

IT WORKS! Here's what I did. I had to upgrade to the absolute last in the 378 series, which was 378.56.2. Now I'm on 380. Perhaps 378.55 had some weird issue. Thanks for the help with making me realize I had a CFE issue. Edit: For anyone who runs into this, from 378.55->378.56.2 it worked just...

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

I'm on 378.55 and have been for a bit here. I managed to get CFE up to 1.0.2.0 too. As for 380, I've been unable to flash it. I've tried doing it from recovery mode using the tool and using TFTP. Once the router comes back up it still says 378.55 (but at least the CFE is right!) Are there logs...

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

Okay I have my CFE back on 1.0.2.0... But still can't upgrade to a 380 series... I wonder if this is the different signature verification stuff?

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

I had basically come to the same conclusion. Thats why the reset button no longer works properly. I can get CFE to wait but not long enough to flash anything. I am going back to the slickdeals directions and will update progress later. Thanks

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

I'm fairly sure that I did. I followed a pretty long and involved process from slickdeals that involved many steps, although it's been several years and many bourbons since. Also, I am now on 378.55, so I did for sure get past 376.

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

WebUI updates still don't work, I assume due to the f/w validation changes in the 380 series is the issue? The other annoying behavior is that although I believe recovery mode still works with 378.55, the power LED no longer flashes like it used to. Do you know if there's a specific 380...

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

Okay I got to 378.55 using the recovery mode. Cannot flash the latest 380, I think there's another intermediate F/W I need. 380 gets to about 30% and fails using the recovery mechanism.

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

Okay, SHAs validated after re-download. Router power cycled. Still no luck. I found an older 378 release at the main D/L site, it also fails. Other ideas?

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

I have the right files, but will re-download and validate checksums. No USB devices. Do I need to do a factory reset before upgrading? I was concerned that I would end up back with TMO firmware on here if I did a reset.

[TM-AC1900] Upgrading from 376.49 to anything else

I've been quite remiss in maintaining newer f/w on this router, and when I tried recently to go to 380, it failed. I did some digging and found out that I needed to get to 378.55 first for a new flash layout? But that also fails with the same error: "Firmware upgrade unsuccessful. It may result...
