No offense to Merlin but why would you want to? ASUS firmware has gotten really good and with AIMesh I don't see any advantage to Merlin. It's a great router without Merlin.

I had the same problem with the 1st 5ghz band dropping off...the signal strength looked like a sawtooth wave. Disabling smart connect solved the problem on my end. I haven't tried turning it back on with the most recent fw. Band steering for me is mostly useless anyway as I don't have a ton...

I don't use an adblocker at all. I'm getting the popup. There is no whitelist for a non-existant ad blocker. Maybe I'll get one and start blocking ads since I'm being accused of that.

I don't use an adblocker. I see ads on the site. I've even clicked a few. I use amazon links on the site to purchase hardware. Yet I am seeing an obnoxious yellow popup accusing me of using an adblocker everywhere I go on the site. "Tim" needs to fix this.
