    AX86U constantly running at 85°C+

What I did was put two very, very quite small fans behind the RT-BE86U and my temps are 2.4GHz: 41C - 5 GHz: 45C and the CPU: 47C. The room temp (hot day in SC), is about 82, no fan or AC going.

Should I or Shouldn't I Is The Question

Funny you should ask that question. My current router that I'm talking about is the ASUS RT-BE86U. But I noticed that you have the one I use to have. Long story short about that one is that my brick (power adapter), was very hot to the touch. So I traded it in the BE86u. Did I make a mistake?

Should I or Shouldn't I Is The Question

So I got this great router a week ago and fell in love it. Having 33 CCTV cameras, plus everything else, I needed something that could handle it. So while messing around it and messing it up, I saw this thing about Total Swap: No swap configured. So the question is should I or shouldn't I...

    Maybe Some Help

I just purchase an ASUS RT-BE88U router. I love the memory of it that's for sure as my old router I was up it's memory in a day. Anyway, I'm the type of person who love to have seperate bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz). But in the interface, it doesn't show where I can seperate them. In my old router...

A Little Fuzzy - How many devices can be connected?

First off, the Amcarest switch is being used for 1 camera, and then for the AP. I totally agree that you can only make recommendations, which is fine with me. I have 1 DVR (Barn), that has 25 cameras hooked up to it. Then I have 1 NVR that has 9 cameras hook up to it, but those cameras also...

A Little Fuzzy - How many devices can be connected?

According to Google, the RT-AX88U Pro can handle around 48 concurrent connections. That's a good thing because I have 26 devices for the whole system. I think I'm in really good shape. Unless of course you have some other type of info that I need to know.

A Little Fuzzy - How many devices can be connected?

This is the Amcrest 6-Port POE+ Power Over Ethernet Switch with Metal Housing, 4-Ports POE+ 802.3at 65W that I'm going to plug it into. According to Google "Yes, you can use your Amcrest 6-port PoE switch with the TP-Link EAP610 access point. The EAP610 supports PoE+ and Passive PoE, and most...

A Little Fuzzy - How many devices can be connected?

Okay, so either I'm not asking the right question. Well I decided to get the AX86U Pro. Should be here Tuesday, which once I get it setup, I will put my ATT Gateway into IP Passthrough Mode to the new router. I'm also getting an AP out in my barn. The AP I'm getting is the TP-Link...
