I just installed AdGuard Home on a RT-AX58U and now I see spikes on CPU graph about every 4-5 seconds. I checked htop and the issue is clearly related with AdGuard's processes. Maybe it is a configuration issue?

cool. seems like your build solved my issue. somehow transmission is a bit slower and sometimes struggle to get peers. also i noticed that adding torrents which have UTF-8 characters it does not display them. looks like somekind of charset issue? is it also related with openssl?

I mean these are maybe software limitations and not the hardware if these are really limitations. Cause MiniDLNA is not as dumb like on AsusWRT. And as I understand AsusWRT use MiniDLNA. I used it too on several OpenWRT routers. Or what kind of fork AsusWRT use?

I would like to setup my router to share a content of the connected network driver. I used DLNA on several router softwares but AsusWRT looks very limited to me. First of all, am I wrong or UTF-8 characters are not supported for naming the server? If yes: WHY? Is there any workaround for this...

i'm stuck with this. actually i trying to configure transmission. as i understand it using the settings.json from /opt/etc/transmission. i cannot edit the file that's now clear. i can only change settings via gui (for example the inbuilt web interface or most of the transmission applications)...

Sometimes it just much easier to access and modify some files via SSH. That's how I do on my OpenWRT devices. But on Merlin it is not clear for me where are the configurations stored. For example where can I find the Asus(?) MiniDLNA configuration file and where are the Entware related...

Sadly reformat in my case is a no-go cause I have no way to do a backup. This drive is already a backup drive in some ways. Also as far as I remember I formatted it with Ubuntu and for similar reasons it is formatted as GPT. So I prepared it already for this kind of usage back in the days. But...

Hey there. I have an RT-AX58U with the latest Merlin. AFAIK the partition/disk(?) size is limited by Asus. But even my cheaper router can handle my 6 TB HDD and this capacity in the 21st century it's not a "big deal". Is there any way or tweak to unlock this restriction on Merlin?

Sure? The actual hardware is just a Xiaomi Mi Router 3G with a 250/70Mbps connection and it's resources are half of this. Are there any informations about how much RAM needed for Merlin at average usage?
