Hello all,
I am hoping one of guys or the Almighty Merlin can answer this.
I am trying to utilize LACP link between rt-ax88u aimesh nodes and the main rt-ax88u.
My understanding is that for aimesh to work via ethernet backhaul, cable must be plugged into the WAN port of the aimesh node...
Sir,
In regards to your review you stated:
“The Cut Through Forwarding tests look for throughput reduction when various router features are used. The 99.1% score means testing did not show appreciable throughput reduction for any of the features tested (adaptive QoS, Bandwidth monitor...
OK. I factory reset. Loaded 3.0.0.4.384_6210 and factory reset again to be safe. All is well now!
I get ~1,150 Mbps now and WAN AG is working properly now.
My log no longer has those "protocol 0800 is buggy, dev eth1" errors flooding it.
Please note. Turning on Traffic analyzer, QOS...
With WAN AG on are you able to get over gig speeds?
I have everything configured right with WAN AG working connected via LAG LACP to my RT-AX88U. I then have LAG LACP going from the RT-AX88u to a 10gig switch. My download is still capped at 950 Mbps. However, when using this exact same...

The Broadcom “Range Boost” feature in this new chip that supposedly makes the signal better. Does that apply only to the 5ghz band? Or does it also work on the 2.4ghz band too?
Could not find any info while googling about it and was curious
No problem man and thanks for the beer lol.
Yeah, I made an account on the SNB forums today just so I could reply to your post. I love this site and always read the reviews on it and read posts in the forums but I never posted before. I randomly stumbled upon your post today and I was like...
You are very welcome Rick. I am not sure why Netgear has let this go on for so long. Possibly it took them a long time to figure out the issue and they finally were able to resolve it. I do not know a thing about programming software or firmware, but maybe such a simple issue that we see has...
Before you disable the DOS protection, you can look in your routers log in Advanced, Admin, Logs and look at the log after you accessed the foscams from your phone outside the home network. it will show the cell phone doing some sort of DoS attack which it really is not when you access the cameras.
The foscam cameras disconnecting when not on home network is because of a known issue with Netgear's firmware. It is because it is thinking the cameras being accessed from the outside network is a DoS attack. If you go into the router settings and go to Advanced, Wan Setup, and then CHECKMARK...
