Yes, I've seen it here on an AX-86U. Reboot didn't fix, what did was selecting manually a control channel. It had been on "Auto." Hasn't come back after at least one month +.

Look under "Wireless", then "Professional" and you will find these settings. "MCS 7" is under "Modulation settings." By "lowest common denominator" I mean "without advanced settings enabled". This worked for me and is intended as a confirmation of the contents of RMerlins post which it directly...

Just to confirm, I used to have problems with many of my iOT devices on 2.4G. Finally one day I went in and changed that band to "lowest common denominator" - no beamforming, no Airtime fairness, only MCS 7, etc, etc - and I haven't had issues with devices dropping offline since.

I don't think this is accurate. My understanding is that RMerlin has not received all the GPLs for the different router models. The alphas are not part of this process. Someone please jump in if this is incorrect.

So one report of success using a method nowhere suggested by ASUS. Meanwhile, the method described in their FAQ on their website does not work.......

I doubt this - I haven't seen a single "works fine here" post on this topic despite this being an extremely common response to posts on other issues.

I'm running 386.3_2 on an RT-AX86U. So I'm trying to operate as "load balanced" while having 4 specific devices always go through WAN 2. I check which WAN is in use by running a speed test and checking the servers used. I thought I had everything working then added the 4th device and bang! now...

....and yes indeed it did work for a great savings of time in the upgrade!

Yes, I know I'm being lazy here, but I wonder if I can export the DHCP reservation list from my ac86 and then import it on my new ax86 to save a lot of time in moving everything over to the new box. Thanks in advance!

Just loaded beta2: first I turned off all scripts, then unmounted my flash drive. Upgraded and when I went to restart scripts I get "amtm failed to create the directory /jffs/addons/amtm Please investigate. Aborting amtm now. Any suggestions on how to fix? I've rebooted w/formatting the jffs...
