Oh hey everyone, it's been a long time. Glad to see other people are actively supporting DSL builds now. I will probably continue by downloading other people's builds :P I have never upgraded my version since the first post, although I had no issues so far, I can give it a try.

Great instructions! Thanks for the clean explanation. Moving tc_fw folder is important as there is no strict check for it AFAIK so you might end up with a "dsl" firmware with no modem in it. I will actually copy these instructions and put it into the repo so that I don't forget the steps either :P

After spending very long time with the sources, I finally got it to FULLY work with my DSL AC68U, even the DSL connection works now!!!! Am I allowed to share my github for the patches?

I modified asuswrt-merlin firmware such that it fully works with DSL-AC68U now (of course as a router only), USB port also works. Next I will focus on enabling DSL.

I'm trying to compile the latest DSL-AC68U sources but the folders in README don't exist. I also followed Merlin's guide but the folders and files he specifies also don't exist. Is it really possible to compile latest sources?

I'm trying to setup DLNA server on 6TB HDD with ext3 partition and it has huge files around 50GB each. Some of those 50GB files can be indexed but some are not, due to out of memory error. But what I don't understand is that if the file size is the problem, why some of them can be indexed...

So is it possible to "combine" DSL sources with the merlin fw sources, is there any strict restriction for it?
