high ping

Hi guys, first post on SNB so bare with me. I purchased the Asus ROG AX11000 about a week ago, it is a few years old now but still up there’s as a great router. The issue I’m having is that, it’s advertised as “lower ping” but can’t really lower the ping when in an online game or under load...

So I have been having issues setting up my home's internet connection after moving out. My ISP gave me a new modem/router which I put in bridge mode and now only my RT-AC86U is running. Right now, I am running fq_codel QOS on ASUS Merlin 386.7_2 and I am having like 110 ping in games and 220ms...
