Hello,
Is there a way to eliminate the public IP address which appears to be from the Verizon gateway?
Why do I ask?
I've recently changed my ISP. I'm trying out Verizon's 5G Home Internet. I've connected my Asus RT-86U Pro router to Verizon's gateway by placing the gateway in pasthrough mode. I use OpenVPN configuration file connected to my RT-86U Pro router using the VPN director. This provides the ability to connect my Roku Ultra to the router without using the VPN, and have access to local TV channels. The doubling up of IP happens either with a J45 cable, or connecting via WiFi. I'm using Merlin's firmware 3006.102.5. It works, but I'd like to have only the 1 VPN IP address showing when using https://dnscheck.tools/ to check my IP address and my DNS query setup. Hence the question above.
Thanks!
