4G / LTE Failover with Dual Wan - what devices are working well for you guys?

I have an RT-AC86U and looking for what is working well for the community.

I had a USB tethered Android phone hotspot work well.

However, I found it was easier just to switch to and from the primary and secondary WAN manually instead of having the router continually check if the primary WAN was down and when/how to switch back from the Secondary WAN.
