New Around Here
Hello,

since I added Asus Lyra to my network chromecasting to my TV stopped working.

Internet is going into the AC58U WAN port. Lyra is connected to another port of the AC58.
All devices connected to the AC58 via cable have IPs in the 192.168.1.0 range.
All devices connected to Lyra have IPs in the 192.168.72.x range.
Ping OK between the networks.

So the phone does not see the TV for chromecasting, if I set the TV to Wifi, then all OK, what setting am I missing?

Thanks!

IIRC chromecasting uses broadcast traffic so that means both devices must be on the same subnet, either 192.168.1.x or 192.168.72.x. Having one device on one subnet and the other device on the other subnet won't work.

Thanks, I read something about mDNS and the use of avahi. Unfortunately I do not find anything on how to configure it on my router, the service is already installed. I am on standard asuswrt
