Specifically, the M&M Config and the Nuclear Reset guides may have a few finer points that can make a difference if a 'full reset' and will help get your network and router back to a good/known state and one which properly uses the defaults that the firmware you flashed expects.

This started happening again. I was out of this house for a few months and I finally came back to be able to get back to this issue again. For the whole week last week, there was no reboot instance even when the Shield was connected. Today, it started rebooting again. I had to disconnect the Shield to stop the rebooting. Last week, I thought everything was finally fixed and I was thinking that an Nvidia shield firmware update fixed it or something but it was another false alarm.

I did all the steps in this thread. What else can I check?
