ac66u VPN Server - secure internet browsing not working

Occasional Visitor
I have set up the VPN server according to the manuals and tried to access it thru my iPhone on ATT LTG. Only after I set port forwarding for 1723 to 192.168.1.1 I was able to access the home network, but I cannot surf the Web ... What am I missing?
