Hello,
Sorry if this has been posted before, I wasn't able to locate a thread after a quick search of "AC68U https".
In the last few days my AC68U of 2.5 years has begun refusing connections at http://192.168.1.1.
Some changes that happened lately:
- I've switched to a fiber plan so I connect via a Huawei GPON which has its LAN port set-up in bridge mode by the Company (I don't have admin access to the GPON).
- I can't connect with Firefox from the PC, either http or https, but from Edge I can connect only https after I ignore the certificate error (Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_INVALID_CA).
- When I attempt to connect on http, I get either the "router settings have updated" page, which never refreshes, or "connection was reset".
- I can connect with no problems from my iPhone, which seems to use the "router.asus.com" url to locate the router.
- The router is also accesible via the Asus iOS companion app.
I've tried clearing the browser cache and internet history files, to no avail.
Any thoughts?
