AC86U not able to send email to gmail port 465 since I changed router

Hello everyone,
Thank you for taking the time and reading this. I am using the Aimesh system with the ac86u and the ac68u. I bought the ac86u since my connection on the aimesh drops and wanted to see if a stronger signal router holds better. Either way since installing the ac86u and flashing the firmware and initialising from scratch I found myself with many devices that are not able to send an email to gmail on port 465. I tried configuring these devices and also have 2 way password and created new app passwords but nothing gets through this router. I tried for a few seconds to disable the router firewall but that didn't help. Is there anything I can do before I return this as much as I love it? Any feedback would be very much appreciated. I can try to break the aimesh to test it but in case someone has a quick fix I'm more than grateful to hear. Thank you for your time.
Warm regards,
Mark

What mail client are you using? If it could send before, it should not be a mail client configuration issue.

Many devices cannot send; can some send? Are the troubled ones all on the same network, LAN or WLAN24 or WLAN50? Can a router node client send, i.e. no backhaul path? Have you rebooted them? Can they browse the Internet?

It should not be a router configuration issue. But maybe it could be an AiMesh issue. Are you using any special router features?

Ok so I did an restore then an initialise and with default settings I'm still not able to send mail. No Aimesh. The client is on the IPCamera's, my ISY994 automation. None can send, clicked on email test and failed. I have one connected to a switch then the ac86u router and same thing. Nothing in my nework is port forwarded. But it seems that the devices can't connect to the internet. My phone connects to router to internet and my devices are connected to the router.... I don't get this.I factory formated one camera. I'm lost.
If it helps after initialised I was able to get it working for about 45 minutes then nothing, checked the log and that didn't show much.....
Wonder how I can get these clients to have internet access?
