AC87U DUAL WAN - big question

Hi there,
So as today I have at home two internet providers. Both of them are fiber optics and the provider gave me each one a PPPoE account.
How can I setup the router with two PPPoE accounts, is that possible ?
I have a 3rd internet connection at home but is the same provider as the first one and have a different PPPoE account.

LE: I found out how. Thanks & I'm sorry for bothering you guys

Hey,

thats a good question! Can u explain how you got it to work? Maybe its a help for other, searching about information to the topic, including myself.

Thanks in advance!

Greetz,

Chris

the answer is to use the dual wan feature and select wan as one and ethernet lan as the other and load balancing as mode

this however does not and will not add the speeds of the two separate internet connections as its load balancing not link aggregation or whats called bonding

to achieve aggregation / bonding both the isp and router must support this feature

Ok i thouhgt thats the way to do it. I am just dont know if its working without modems in front of the router aka configuring two PPPoE accounts in the router. I not tried it yet so maybe the router simply provides 2 entry matrix for PPPoE when aggregation / bonding is activated?

Are you sure that the ISP in every case needs to support aggregation / bonding?

Thanks,

Chris
