i could use an explanation here.

How is the dns server assignment on the "WAN - Internet Connection" page used? I'm guessing/hoping that all client requests are funneled to the defined dns server(s) and not my isp even though the router's address is shown as the dns server after an "ipconfig /all" command and in the stack.

this behavior differs from the "LAN - DHCP Server" page. if i enter dns server(s) on that page they show up on my clients' stack as well as ipconfig. so, i'm working ok but a bit confused.

thanks.
