I've called it "ad blocking lists" but for reasons covered in http://www.snbforums.com/threads/ad-blocking-on-the-router.9304/page-5#post-168129 "unwanted/malicious-domain blocking lists" would be more appropriate.
Whilst I've seen mention of "the yoyo list" http://pgl.yoyo.org/as/serverlist.php?showintro=0;hostformat=hosts in this forum, I've never seen any mention of the Malware Domain blocklist. So, having discovered it last week, I simply want to make others aware, should they be interested.
The site is at: http://www.malwaredomains.com/
and the files are at : http://mirror2.malwaredomains.com/files/
The site makes clear that the information is free for non-commercial use.
I use the justdomains file, whose entries are listed in the form:
dc7755.com
hecodat.de
programmpower.ru
wittyvideos.com
And because I block using a Raspberry Pi hosting a DNS server attached to my RT-AC68U, all I do is add the relevant text/characters to the start and end of each line. (Similarly with the yoyo list, which I merge and remove any duplicates).
