New Around Here
I've just started seeing my AiMesh Node disappear after I restart my RT-AX86U Pro. The AiMesh Node is an RT-AX53U and has a hard wired connection to the RT-AX86U Pro.

86U firmware = 3.0.0.4.388_22237-g9120e16
53U firmware = 3.0.0.4.386_68526-g9b972d6

If I make any changes in VPN Fusion on the RT-AX86U Pro, I lose the node. If I restart the RT-AX86U Pro, I lose the node.

Every time, I have to factory reset the AiMesh Node then reconnect on the 86U AiMesh page.

It's getting tedious. Can anyone please suggest a solution?

Process I follow for each node. Wire connected main router > node.
Factory reset.
WebGUI initialize reset.
Access node. Set to aimesh > aimesh node
Add mesh on main router.
Let it sync.
Wait 5-10mins.
>>if doing wireless mesh like I am then disconnect cable between main router and node.
>>let it sync and leave for 5-10mins.
Reboot node via GUI.
Wait 5-10mins.
Switch/power off node.
Leave off for few mins.
Power on node.
Let it sync. Leave 5mins.
Reboot main router/power off main router.
Let it sync.
Leave 5-10mins.
If its all good. Switch off node and move into position.

Worked for me every single time AXE16k + 3x XT12s.

Thanks Bhoot, I’ll try that and see how it goes.
