AiMesh on a GT-BE98 and two GT-AX6000

New Around Here
Hello, I have the following AiMesh configuration: master - GT-BE98 and two AX6000 nodes with a wired backhaul.
I wanted to create two wireless networks: Network 1 for older devices (2.4+5-1 channels 36-64) and Network 2 for new devices (5-2 channels 100-177)+6), and have the nodes extend Network 1.
But this doesn't work because the nodes always extend the 5-2 range.
Therefore, the only way to force the nodes to extend the 5-1 range is to disable the 5-2 radio module.
Is there another way to force the system to use the 5-1 range for AiMesh?

My only guess is try to enable Ethernet Backhaul Mode. Under General -> AiMesh -> System Settings (tab) on the web GUI. I believe the default backhaul is 5 GHz-2 and you have set up Enable Fronthaul and Backhaul...

Ethernet Backhaul mode was already enabled.

Ethernet Backhaul mode was already enabled.
Hmmm....

You mentioned that you disabled 5 GHz-2 on the GT-BE98. Then 5 GHz-1 is correctly extended.

So when you re-enable 5 GHz-2 the extension automatically jumps back to extending 5 GHz-2?

Do you have a WiFi Analyzer app? Can you check for hidden 5 GHz SSID with extension "_dwb". I suspect a firmware bug.

Which firmware are you running on the GT-AX6000? Are you running Gnuton on the GT-BE98?

Unfortunately I experienced AiMesh issues with Merlin today so I switched to stock ASUSwrt (GT-AXE16000 could not add as AiMesh node and similarly RT-AX86U)...

Yes I see Hidden SSID networks without names and not hidden with name "8". This networks appears and disappears all time.

I use last versions of stock Asus firmware on all routers

First, I want to set up everything on the stock firmware, and then expand the functionality with Entware
