amtm amtm 6.0.1 - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu, May 31, 2025

This LEDs thing with Aura becomes more complex the more I look into it. It‘ll be even more granular when I‘m done.

Was this expected to happen after the script update? 🤔

and strange jump by +0.0.2 versions.... 🤔 (ignore MerlinAU - its on development-debugging)

It's actually not odd at all. Considering that development versions had been available and the standard for the community on 3006 for some time. (7+ months)

The OSR team started with those development versions, we bumped them up to master releases and then added our own tweaks or changes on top to migrate to OSR.

So in summery, Jacks development versions +1.

Restored from backup ntpMerlin. Dear Mr. @thelonelycoder, may you please enlighten humble user, how to proceed step-by-step so neither ntpMerlin, nor other updated addons are f**** - be it DB, or other aspects? 🙃
I am not the coder of the mentioned addons.

As I got the idea behind "upgrade" - it was a move from the current-addons to unserviceable-addon repositories. From end-users perspective this should have changed only version-number-bump. May you please enlighten, why did the addon updated trigered DB and stats overwrite?

I get that everyone in dev more or less have moved to 3006 branch. But regarding 3006 - GT-AXE11000 is on 3004 still?! Why might this has happened in the first place?

I don't quit dig into these explanations. But from my POV - ntpMerlin script update executed not a simple update (of version and URL for future checks of version), but install from 0. May you explaint, like I am 4YO - why did this happedned?

The Aura RGB coupling setting in lc really does disable or enable Nicht Mode, correct?
If you disable Aura RGB coupling in lc and set Night mode to On in the WebUI this will be honored when disabling/enabling manually in lc?

Except mine has a full fledged ROG UI as Gnuton provides firmware for ROG and default UI.

You can set the time in the WebUI when to switch or do you use amtm's lc function?

Yes. That's how I have it configured. Goes completely black when manually disabled and back to night mode when manually re-enabled.

Nope - no option available (like I seen in screenshots with "night mode" from other posts)

or do you use amtm's lc function?

Used static time-inverse. Just tested to sunrise/sunset inverse - works perfectly from LOCATION=>LOCAL TIME.

EDIT: No menu item like above in visortgw post - 5. Enable Aura RGB coupling.

P.S. EDIT2: on AMTM 6.0.

In other words, the Aura RGB coupling in lc is useless and can be removed as long as my logic in lc reinstates the correct setting as set in the WebUI. Right?
