amtm amtm v6.7.2 [2026-Apr-19] - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu

Well I could technically bake an AMTMupdate option in using
sh installer "" update
I would have to set it to run silently though, but you are probably right it is probably best to leave well enough alone for now. It doesn't mean I won't in the future. But seriously though I will probably look into doing this for both AdGuardHome and Dnscrypt-Proxy @thelonelycoder . If I am reading your steps correctly, it should be easily doable on my end. I already have most of the thought integrated into the script, I just have to add a few lines here and there to implement the amtmupdate check, and the amtmupdate option. I can even add a menu support where users can enable it or disable it inside the installer menu.
@thelonelycoder @Stephen Harrington now I just need a humble brave soul willing enough to test it out.. Not trying to hijack this thread, but any time is a good time for an

Just need to receive an update to see the behavior.

The only nuance I can think of is that it will probably never work for the edge version because the agh installer is setup to always update the edge version when the update option is ran. I do not know if AMTM will respond the same way. The edge versions are nightly builds, and if no changes were made, then you basically keep downloading the same version. The beta and stable are the only version's that have an official version check process.

I am running the stable (or release version)

Should I keep this version or change to test your theory?
I think to keep it for now to test the behavior and to change after, but you may think differently.
