Any routers with built in support for HFS+ or APFS (filesystems for Mac)?

It used to support my router, didn't it? And is HFS+ expected to work?
I did specify "All the models that I currently support". Older models like the RT-AC66U didn't support HFS+, Asus only added support starting with the ARM-based models, when they switched to the Tuxera filesystem drivers.

I missed that detail, thank you for the clarification.

What is the relationship between Broadcom chipset and ARM in this context?

Unrelated, just the fact that Asus only switched to the Tuxera driver stack at the same time they released routers based on the newer Broadcom platform, which happened to be ARM based.
