Anyone know how to force a rescan without doing a reboot? We have anywhere from 15 to 25 devices flowing through the network at any given time(iphones, ipads, laptops, desktops, game consoles) and everyone is constantly adding pictures, videos and music.
But the only way I've found so far to get the media server to rescan is to shut off the server then do a reboot. This does not sit well with anyone, especially the gamers in the house. I stream through my PS3 a lot, and there are always null folders and other weird crap until I do a reboot.
Anyone got a solution?
