Any way to make devices join the IOT network

Hello, is there Any way to make devices join the IOT network? Also if a device is on the IOT network while I’m on the main network I should have no issues connecting to it right? Specially I worry about my HomePods as I know Apple can be hit or miss with wifi sometimes.

Yes. With the new SSID/Pass you have to re-connect each one of them.

No. In default configuration IoT network is isolated from the main LAN.

Ok sounds good thank you! I think my HomePods jumped networks from IOT to the main one as that is the one my phone is connected too.

How would a device "jump" networks without having the SSID and password?

When I set up my homepods I was connected to the IOT network, after install I went back to my normal network on my phone, when I'm connected to that network the homepods jumped to that network instead of staying on IOT

Apple devices share network details between them automatically. If your iPhone knows the SSID and password, so do your HomePods.
