Anyone notice DDNS update?

I've noticed that every time I navigate to the DDNS page of the GUI, it appears that this forces the router's DDNS client to update the DDNS provider. Not a big deal, but I'd hate for my DDNS provider to ban me for too frequent/unnecessary updates (I get email saying "please save our bandwidth by not updating if there is no change").

I'm using the DNS-o-Matic client.
