Asus guest networks (2.4 and 5 GHZ), Index 1 use distinct subnets from the main router. (RT-AX88U/Asus Merlin). If I install a VPN Client and use VPN Director to route a guest network client through the VPN- it does work. The client is using the VPN network. My question is that if by doing so- I break some of the network isolation of the guest network from the main network- especially if I have non-guest network clients using the VPN as well.
My goal is to have guest network client isolation and enable a VPN on the guest network. I don't want to use two routers because of concerns with channel interference.
