Asus 3200 and iPods

Occasional Visitor
We have 2 iPods in the house with the AC3200 router (currently using Merlin firmware 380.66) - the 2 iPods frequently drop connection.

There is no issue with any other wireless connection such as Smart TVs, Xbox, PCs etc.

We also have a repeater in the house which has the same ID and password: maybe it is reconnecting to both?

Any ideas why this issue only applies to the iPods?!

The first item to check is to make sure airtime fairness is turned off. Other than that, I have no other ideas what the issue could be.

Code:
380.66 (12-May-2017)
  - NEW: Merged with GPL 380_7378
         Notable changes:
            * Port forwards can select a specific source IP
            * Security fixes for CVE-2017-5891, CVE-2017-5892
              and CVE-2017-6547
         Note:
            * If you are experiencing new wifi stability
              issues, try disabling Airtime Fairness on
              the Wireless -> Professional page (on all
              bands).

Also, I believe Apple devices (they ain't the only ones tho) are having issues with Smart Connect. I recommend disabling that, and manually allocating clients to specific SSIDs instead.
