Asus 3200 firmware upgrade?

I just connected Asus RT-AC 3200 router to my modem. It is working like a champ so far. Question should I stick with the original firmware or should I tweek it Asuswrt-Merlin firmware. I am a little tech savvy but I know many of you are on a whole different level. Plus security and performance wise tweeks. Thank you

if you have to ask you prob dont need to , the extras are just gravy , the stock fw works just fine
